The goal of this project was to create an artist book consisting of Martin Puryears’ work while also conveying the theme of his work in some way. I feel his work portrays freedom and containment, since many of his works range from very structual to more organic and free flowing. To represent this concept and the natural materiality of his work I included panels that move in and out, up and down but are structured by a grid.
